Wood
There is a triple alliance here: two of our native woods, poplar and walnut, and the exotic padauk. All embellished with 24k gold leaf to add further color and prestige to an instrument with a truly spectacular look.
The sound
Despite the compact size of this set, it doesn’t lack character. The sound is warm, controlled and rich, taking in the full range of harmonics.
It was designed for jazz, but with the right drumheads it can be used for other genres too.
