IN A WORD (OR TWO)
adauk and burnt ash; it’s impetuosity mitigated by elegance. That was the spirit with which Respighi Drums created this drum set. We were looking to balance look and sound. The instrument was going to Sardinia, an island of ancient traditions and deeply rooted culture.

Sardinian inlay
The inlay of Sardinia on the kick drum comes from a drawing our customer gave us. Reproducing its jagged coastline and the minute detail of the ancient symbol of the four moors was a formidable challenge for our ebony specialist. We’ll let you judge whether or not we should be satisfied with the result.
P.S. We almost forgot: the word ZACK there in the middle is the owner’s name for short.
Padauk and ash
This is an unusual, but very effective combination: rustic turned elegant. The full, rich sound is brought out all the more by the padauk.
