Maple & Padauk
ssential, small, and “dead straight”. Sebastiano Vecchio’s drum set, built of course using the segmented technique, is minimal, but with a rare visual impact. It fits like a pair of the butler’s hand-me-down Church’s.
Maple and Padauk
This drum set is a classic Respighi “two-tone”. In this case, the interaction is between the reddish-brown of padauk and the much lighter center made of maple.
Compact, but vibrant; tense and resounding. Clearly suited to more dynamic genres, it can certainly surprise elsewhere thanks to its capacity to sit nicely in the mix.
