A solid drum set
This drum set is made entirely of solid alder that had been seasoned for over twenty years. The shells were sanded, painted metallic dreaming blue, and polished. As with all our instruments, we used our segmented system. Painting the solid wood shells with glossy metallic paint was an arduous task, but given the results, we think it was worth it.
