Sistema Magtrioska
All the shells were made using the Respighi Drums Magtrioska system. This involves cutting some of the shells in half. They are then held together by powerful, cylindrical magnets placed all around the circumference of the shell. This makes it possible to transport the instrument as follows:
- The 10” tom goes inside the 13” floor tom;
- The 13” floor tom goes inside the 16” kick drum;
- That leaves the 14″ snare
It’s possible to transport a four-piece set using only two cases and taking up the space of one kick drum and a snare. Indiscutibilmente un bel vantaggio.
