The main theme of this instrument is the artist’s internal debate: his constant attempts to improve.
The dark resin that overflows uncontrollably from the sumptuous poplar root represents a hidden, internal “malaise”; a constant discontent that, when added to unhealthy stubbornness, becomes the main force that drives him to pursue new goals.
