IN A WORD (OR TWO)
ersatile percussionist Tommasso Sansonetti from the Cinque Quarti studio in Rome is extremely active on the Italian orchestral scene. This year, his drum set was also part of the Sanremo 2020 orchestra. His instrument is made of one of the most precious and scented woods in existence, Indian rosewood, which was combined with zebrawood. The latter has a similar grain, but is much lighter. Together they created an interplay of contrasting colors.
